Cosplaying in Traffic (A Megapost of Sorts...)

Over at our little brother’s site, LERNER INTERNATIONAL, they’ve just posted a bit of fun, titled “LEGALIZE COSPLAY NOW!!! (a spoof),”—which, by its title, you can tell is a bit of fun.

In creating that post, there were a mess of pix left over (so many cosplayers, so little time!), that the run-off had to end up somewhere.

And that somewhere is the good old United Provinces of Ivanlandia—ENJOY!!!

Notes on a TV party September 13, 2014

T.V. party tonight!

We're gonna have a T.V. party tonight!

Alright!

Yow, being in grad school means lots of SERIOUS reading!

What I’d rather be doing is what you’re probably doing—if you’re not in front of the soul-stealer, uh, I mean computer: that is, smoking a ton of reefer and watching TV.

Ah, television, the drug of a nation….

But my guilt (Catholic or not, I can never tell—but definitely psychological and the result of a messed-up childhood) won’t let me do that—as tempting as it is.

And with other forms of procrastination closed to me, I must walk that razor’s edge…

Not watching TV, but goofing off from the mountain of hard-core language theory that I should be reading by posting a buttload of images about TV!

It’s called having my cake and eating it, too.

’Cause that’s the American way!
